There's no such thing as a dull day...
If you're friends with the rabbit in the blue jacket!
To Peter Rabbit’s six-year-old eyes, the fields, valleys, and woods are alive with wonder and potential adventure. Whether he's scaling the heights of the woodland canopy, rafting down a raging stream, sprinting through the woods faster than all his friends or dancing a manic "bunny dance" of celebration, this is one very "rabbit-y" rabbit.
Peter is a source of irresistible excitement to his friends, Benjamin Bunny and Lily Bobtail.
Peter has an infectious enthusiasm for life
Whether he's tasting the delicious freshness of a new spring shoot or discovering that an old puffball can be used to make smoke signals, Peter is our guide to a world of infinite discovery.
To Peter, there are never any problems, only possibilities. He is cool under pressure and his quick-witted mind is as nimble as his super-fast legs. It's also what sets him apart from some of his friends. No matter how dire the situation, whether his goal is helping someone in need, making amends for something he did wrong, or simply having an incredible adventure - Peter is so tenacious he will refuse to be blown off course.
He lives by the words his father said the day he took his first steps, "A good rabbit never gives up!"
Peter always looks up to his mother
Peter loves Mrs. Rabbit unconditionally and she returns his affections with good humour and patience, even though she is occasionally stern with him.
Although Peter never knew his father, he always strives to live up to his father's legacy. He was too young to remember the fateful day when the legendary adventurer, Mr. Rabbit, embarked upon one radish raid too many into Mr. McGregor's garden.
But Peter is very much his father's son. Peter's father lives on through "the journal", the diary/rabbit-almanac that he left behind for Peter. It's full of a lifetime's accumulated rabbit knowledge: maps, secrets, and invaluable advice. The journal, carried about in Peter's satchel, is Peter's most prized possession; and it might kick off an adventure when Peter reads about a new route into Mr. McGregor's garden, or provide the plans for a shelter to ride out a winter storm, or it might be the source of a mystery that simply must be solved.
"A good rabbit never gives up!"
"Let's hop to it!"
"Don't quit rabbit!"
