Accessibility Guide

Here at Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play, the attraction has been designed with your needs in mind making it accessible as possible to all of our guests.

Mobility

Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play is located on the ground floor with no additional access levels. The majority of our facilities and entertainment are designed to be fully accessible to our guests with additional needs. 

For safety reasons, motorised scooters are not permitted within Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play. We do have wheelchairs available to hire onsite; however, this is limited and subject to availability. To hire a wheelchair please speak to a member of the team on site.

Sensory

• Quieter Sessions
  If you need to visit with the attraction during quieter times, please contacts us and we will be happy to provide further information. You can contacts us via our Facebook page or email PeterRabbitBlackpool@merlinentertainments.biz

• Visitors with Epilepsy or Light Sensitivity
  Strobe lighting is used in parts of the attraction and can be switched off upon request.

Carers

Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play offers free entry to carers or essential companions of those with disabilities.

All tickets must be pre-booked online in advance, therefore, please book your ticket via our website here and then for your carer, please scroll down in the webstore and select the free carer option. 

Please show one of the following items to a member of our Front of House Team on arrival in order to enter with your pre-booked carer ticket: 

• Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
• Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
• Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) Disability Students’ Allowance (DSA), or DID card (UK Disabled ID card).
• A valid Blue Badge
• In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
• Credibility’s Access Card with the carer/companion symbol
• An International Equivalent of the Above

Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play welcomes guide dogs, seeing eye dogs and hearing dogs into the attraction.

Family Facilities

You are more than welcome to bring a buggy or pushchair into the attraction as we are fully accessible. We also have a buggy park located in the admissions area if you wish to leave it there before your visit.
